Normal range of vital sign

Equipment: Thermometer, stop watch.

Body temperature determination

Keep the clinical thermometer in the axillary of a person for at least 60 seconds (until the temperature becomes static) and note the mercury level to measure the body temperature of the person.

Pulse rate determination

Start the stop watch and feel the beat at any common pulse points and count them for 1 minute. The count gives the pulse rate of the person.
